The sims 3 Hamilton & Boyd (part 6)

The sun has been up for hours, but Drake and Destiny are still sleeping.  Not getting home until 3am once again has taken it’s toll.
Destiny manages to wake up on time, but she is still sleepy.  Going clubbing may have to be reserved for the weekends.
Drake is a bit more energetic and excited because he plans on purchasing a bar for their apartment today.
Destiny is dressed and ready.  She takes the elevator downstairs to wait for the carpool.  While she’s waiting, Moxie calls.  “Hey girl.  Sorry about the other night.  I shouldn’t have left you at the club.” Moxie apologizes.

“It’s OK.  I shouldn’t have been acting like such a big shot.” Destiny says.
“Do you want to go out tonight?”

Destiny thinks about it.  She really should avoid the clubs until the weekends, but the party girl in her can’t resist. “Sure, I’ll call you when I get home from work.”
Destiny’s carpool arrives and she hops in.  Maybe Moxie will turn out to be a friend after all.
Drake’s bar arrives, along with matching kitchen cabinet facing.
He has a few hours to kill before work, so he decides to give his drink making skills a try.
The first drink doesn’t turn out very well…
…neither does the 2nd drink…
…or the 3rd,
but Drake is confident that he’ll get the hang of it.
At least he has an excuse to enjoy drink after drink.
It’s almost time for Drake to leave for work.  He checks the mailbox on his way to his carpool.
He’s greeted with nothing but bills.
Drake makes it to his carpool on time.
While at work, Destiny is asked to stay late to help clean up a movie set after a pie fight scene.  She’s already stressed and tired, but she agrees to stay.
Destiny sends Drake a text message, letting him know she’ll be staying late.  He texts her back telling her to meet him at the Bridgeport Sports Zone dive bar when she’s finished.  She agrees.  Drake heads over to the bar after work.
The sports bar is right around the corner from the bookstore.  Drake wants to try his hand at moonlighting at the bar.  Hopefully the bartender will give Drake a shot.
In the downstairs lobby, Drake runs into a local celebrity.  “Hey aren’t you that hot chick in the new Simtoria’s Secret catalog?” He asks.

“What are you, some type of pervert?” She responds.
Drake can tell that she is insulted, but he doesn’t care.  Celebrities are too full of themselves anyway. He takes the elevator up to the top floor.
Drake walks past the overly busty bouncer and enters the sports bar.
Drake walks straight to the bar.  He’s confident that he can handle a bar by himself.
“Hey man.  I was wondering if you would give me a shot at bartending for a few hours.”
The bartender looks unsure.

“All I need is a chance,” Drake says in a slightly pleading voice.
The bartender gives Drake a quick rundown of the bar.  Suddenly Drake is not as confident.  “That sure is a lot of drink mix.” He says to himself checking out the fully stocked bar.
Drake hasn’t even begun looking over all of the supplies before a bar patron sits down at one of the bar stools
“I’ll take a hamburger, well done.”  The guy orders.

Drake is relieved that he didn’t order a drink.  A hamburger just involves frozen meat and a microwave.
Drake nukes a frozen burger in the microwave and hands it to the guy.
The guy greedily chomps down on the burger.  No one else approaches the bar, so Drake has time to look over the supplies and drink mixes.
“Keep your workspace clean,” Drake recites to himself.  That’s one thing his mixology instructor kept reiterating.   “This isn’t so bad, “ Drake assures himself; sure that he’ll be a master mixologist in no time.

The sims 3 Hamilton & Boyd (part 5)

After their first day of work, Drake and Destiny have concluded that getting around in this big city takes time and is nothing like getting around their small hometown.
Stressed out Destiny needs to unwind. “Drake, I heard about a hot rooftop dance club at work.  Do you want to check it out?”

Drake would love an opportunity to party and perhaps try his hand at some mixology. “Let’s go.” He answers.
Drake and Destiny catch another cab. Destiny is relieved that it’s not the same miss know-it-all cabby.
Club Aquarius is hot tonight.  There are a few people in the lobby when Destiny and Drake arrive.
Destiny hopes to meet a few celebrities tonight and Drake hopes that the bartender will allow him a chance to moonlight at the bar.
Several people pile into the elevator.
Destiny eyes the bouncer as she heads for the entrance to club Aquarius.  This time she is not stopped.
Drake is intoxicated by the gorgeous view here on the top floor.
Drake is starving by now, so the first thing he does is check out the menu at the bar.  Just looking at this bar, he knows that he doesn’t stand a chance at moonlighting.
Destiny heads straight for the dance floor.  What a great way to unwind after a stressful day.
Drake enjoys his fully loaded nachos at the bar.
Destiny is ready to party, but first she needs a drink.  The bartender is good looking.  Destiny hopes that Drake is not over here flirting.
While at work, Destiny heard rumors that vampires often frequent the clubs here in Bridgeport.  Just the thought of a vampire gives her the creeps.
Drake hits the hot tub.  All of the stress of the day melts away.  This is the life.
Destiny enjoys a Woohoo on the Beach.  She immediately feels relaxed.
Drake calls her over.  A drink and a soak in the hot tub is just what the doctor ordered.
“Drake, Bridgeport is absolutely gorgeous!” Destiny says dreamily.

“Not as gorgeous as you in a wet swimsuit.  Get in here.”
That’s all she needed to hear.  Destiny changes into her swimsuit and hops in.
“I can’t believe we’re actually here.” Destiny says.

“Where? In a hot tub?”

“No Drake, in the city that is going to make our dreams come true!”
“My dreams came true when I met you,” Drake says before he pulls Destiny in for a kiss.
Things become a bit heated in the hot tub, so Drake and Destiny decide to hit the dance floor.  “Oh my goodness!  That’s Jeffrey Cook!”  Destiny informs Drake.
“Who?” Drake asks nonchalantly.

“The city council member Drake! The one that’s been on the news the past few days!  I should go and talk to him.”
Destiny walks over to Jeffrey Cook, while Drake dances with the pretty brunette who’s been staring at him the whole night.
“Hi…Councilman Cook.”

“Yes, do I know you young lady?” Jeffrey Cook asks.
“Um…no.  My name is Destiny Hamilton and I’m new to town.  I just wanted to say that I’ve been following your story and I plan on supporting you during the elections.”
Drake and the brunette continue to dance.  She’s a great dancer.
“Well, thank you.  Nice to hear that…well nice to meet you.” Jeffrey says in a dismissive tone.  Destiny is hurt that she is being rejected by another celebrity.
Jeffrey picks up on this.  The last thing he wants to do is turn away a potential voter.  “I tell you what, take my business card and shoot me an email.  Maybe I can invite you to my next fundraising party.”
“Sure…okay.  That sounds great!”

“Good, good.  I need all the support I can get.”
“So, do you think you’ll ever run for mayor?” Destiny asks.

“Politicians always have ambitions to be at the top, but for now I’m committed to my current position on the city council.”
Destiny catches a glance of Jeffrey’s watch.  “Is that the time?  We’d better go, we have work tomorrow!” Destiny says dismissing herself.
Drake and Destiny head home.  Neither wants a repeat of getting to work late.
Destiny is happy that she actually met a politician.  She hopes that he was serious about inviting her to his next party.  She will be sure to email him.
For now, those ambitions will have to wait.  It’s after 3am and she needs her beauty sleep.
