Sims 3 The Wards (part 19)

Sephora and Zawadi wake up from their naps.  Sephora takes some time to begin teaching Zawadi to speak.
Zawadi listens attentively and picks up on words quickly.
“I love you Zawadi,” Sephora says.

“I wuv ooo!”  Zawadi repeats.  Sephora is delighted.
Zawadi is cranky and tired once again.  Sephora rubs her head and kisses her goodnight.  This calms Zawadi down.
Miles leaves the theater as Barnacle Bay’s newest Lyricist in the Rock Branch of the music career.  Now he wonders how he’s going to manage a band in addition to his full time career.
While riding home, Miles notices that the search lights in front of the new dance club up the hill from his house are on.  “Maybe they’ve finally opened it,” he says out loud.
Miles plans on checking the club out as a potential spot for the “Skinny Dippers” to play.
The next morning Miles tells Zawadi all about his concert and promotion.  Zawadi attempts to repeat some of what she hears.
Sephora explores a new medium outside – topiary.  The branches make it much harder to work with and shape, but the scent flowing from the flying leaves are almost intoxicating for the outdoor lover in Sephora.
Zawadi walks outside, drawn by the sound of Sephora’s chain saw.
Miles follows her out, still struggling with the very thought of being around her.  He allows his fatherly instincts to overrule the slight drop in mood he gets every time he’s around his daughter.
He decides to make himself useful, so he sits down with Zawadi once again to help her learn to speak.
He talks to her about careers and making a lot of money.

“Reer! Oney!” Zawadi repeats.
Miles succeeds in teaching Zawadi to speak.
It’s time for Miles to leave for work.  He has a concert scheduled, but he is not looking forward to showing up on a bike.  He really wants to purchase a car, but knows that wasting gas upsets Sephora.
Miles reluctantly hops on his bike.  He is thinking of purchasing a car behind Sephora’s back.  He has an image to maintain and cannot be seen showing up to his performances on a bike.
Miles’ mood improves as he approaches the theater.  Miles sold lots of tickets and is starting to become pretty well known around Barnacle Bay.
Sephora is also doing well in her craft.  She is now a level 10 sculptor which means that her creations are beginning to sell for more money.  She has managed to come up with her cutest sculpture yet, a panda holding a stalk of bamboo.
Sephora stands back and smiles at her cute chubby panda.
Sephora thinks that topiary may be her new specialty.
If her panda sells well enough, she’s sure to have lots of people requesting topiary.
Sephora grabs Zawadi and tries to hurry to the consignment shop before it closes.
Sephora arrives at the consignment store too late.  She decides to take Zawadi to the park to enjoy some live music, but the two amateur musicians sound terrible.
Zawadi seems to enjoy it anyway, so Sephora stays a while longer, hoping that the music will begin to lull Zawadi to sleep.
