Sims 3 The Wards (part 23)

Miles finds Patti in the backyard.  “I’m sorry you had to hear all of that Patti.  I guess you were right to ask if my wife would be OK with all of this.”  Miles finds it hard to look Patti in the eye.
“So are we still going to do this whole band thing?”  Patti asks.

“Of course!” Miles says finally meeting Patti’s eyes.  “Let’s just meet at the park to practice from now on.”
Sephora sits at the kitchen table trying to digest her conversation with Miles along with her dinner. Inside, she feels that she was wrong to question Miles’ trustworthiness.  He’s been nothing but loyal to her.  If she keeps letting her insecurities creep up on her, she risks losing him forever.
Miles and Patti take their band practice to the park.
Miles loves the way their guitar playing seems to sync.  He silently prays that Sephora comes around because he believes that he and Patti can really go far together as a band.
Sephora checks on Zawadi before jumping in the shower and getting ready for bed.  She makes a decision that she is going to be supportive of Miles and his band.
Miles and Patti finish playing and say goodnight.  “I’m going to look into a few gigs for us to play,” He says, “I think we’re ready.”
Miles walks over to the Wanderers Watering Hole that has been turned into a bar.  He wants to check out the small stage as a possible spot for the ‘Skinny Dippers’ to play.
He looks over to the bar, realizing that he could use a drink.
Miles drinks a few sips from his glass.  “This is not for me,” He tells himself.  He has no desire to become the husband that has an argument with his wife and retreats to the bar.  No, he is going home to Sephora.
Sephora is in bed when Miles arrives home.
Early in the morning, Sephora awakes with a touch of embarrassment still lingering.  She hopes that Miles can forgive her overly jealous behavior.
She doesn’t have long to think about it before Zawadi wakes up in full tantrum mode.  She wants her breakfast and she wants it now.
Sephora pulls Zawadi out of the crib.  Today is Zawadi’s birthday and Sephora would like to redecorate the house in celebration.
Sephora thinks about the changes she would like to make in the living room and in Zawadi’s room. Zawadi is not patient with Sephora and her slow contemplative mood.  She is ready to eat.
Sephora tries to pull herself together this morning, but the main symptom of her neurotic trait is anxiety.  She’s having a tough time getting past it.  She knows that money is a concern for Miles and that redecorating will cost a lot.
Sephora gets Zawadi a bottle and changes her out of her pajamas before preparing breakfast.
Miles wakes up and sits down to eat.  Sephora is still too ashamed to bring up her behavior from yesterday.  “Miles I was thinking about visiting the consignment shop to pick out new furniture for the living room and Zawadi’s bedroom.”
Miles doesn’t seem to be in a very talkative mood, but he agrees that new furniture and fixing up the house would be a great idea.
Miles’ quiet mood bothers Sephora, but he’s not giving her the silent treatment so she guesses that he’s not too mad.
Sephora hops on her bike and heads toward the consignment shop.
Being on her bike never fails to lift Sephora’s mood and help her forget her anxieties.  Her smile is automatic as she rides past the beautiful scenery of Barnacle Bay.
