Just as Lexus and Mercedes finishes up their conversation, Notzo succeeds in teaching Taye how to walk.
Notzo opens his arms and his young son toddles into them.
“Good job little buddy!” Notzo congratulates his son.
Taye uses his new skill.
Taye walks over to his block table where Lexus is studying for school.
Notzo has the idea that he and Mercedes should go and check out the newly renovated Red Rendezvous..
Lexus agrees to babysit…
…while Mercedes and Notzo head out to the bar.
Lexus changes Taye into his pajamas and gets him ready for bed.
Notzo and Mercedes hop into Notzo’s suv and head to town.
The Red Rendezvous is empty when they arrive, but it’s a Sunday night, so they didn’t really expect the bar to be filled.
Mercedes is exhausted, but she is going to try to have as much fun as possible.
She loves the new dance floor in the Red Rendezvous.
Notzo’s stomach is growling, so he goes to the bar and orders a group serving of hot wings.
Hot wings taste so much better in candlelight.
At home, Lexus and Taye are in bed for the night.
Mercedes manages to finish her wings, but…
…she is too sleepy to do much else.
She can’t take another minute. She is ready to go home.
Notzo has a bit more energy, so he plays a round of darts.
Mercedes lets him know that she needs to get to bed. “I’ll be there as soon as I finish this game.” Notzo answers.
He should have just gone home because he loses two rounds in a row.
He is finally sleepy and ready to leave.
He gets into bed, hoping to get enough sleep for a long work day tomorrow.
