It’s Chelsea’s birthday and the Pratt family gathers around her birthday cake to celebrate.
Sarah and Gwen are the first to gather.
Spencer soon joins them. Rena bends down to help Chelsea blow out her lone candle.
Rena makes a wish for Chelsea and her unborn child’s well being and blows out the candle in a single breath.
Chelsea ages up into an inquisitive toddler.
She stares at her birthday balloons trying to figure out how to get them into her mouth.
Just as quickly, something else grabs her attention and she takes off toward the living room as fast as her little hands and knees can carry her.
She looks for her mom and dad, but cannot find them.
She knows that tears will quickly bring them to her.
Rena and Spencer are in the dining room enjoying birthday cake when Chelsea’s cries attract their attention. “I’ll go check on her,” Rena says pushing her chair back from the table.
Chelsea is pleased when her mother arrives to pick her up.
She immediately calms down as Rena holds her close.
Chelsea is all giggles when Rena lifts her above her head.
Spencer spends a few minutes in the hot tub wishing that Rena could join him, but he realizes that it would be dangerous for the baby.
Chelsea is sleepy, hungry and fussy. Rena takes her upstairs and prepares her for a bottle and bedtime.
Suddenly, Rena can feel slight flutters in her womb. Her unborn child seems to be reacting to Chelsea’s cries.
Meanwhile, Gwen finishes up her shift at work. In one day, she’ll be finishing school and making a decision on whether she wants to continue working with the dead or if she wants to pursue another career.
Back at home, Chelsea is ready for her bottle. She reaches high as Rena holds it out to her.
Chelsea takes a few sips before she lowers her bottle and rewards her mother with a wide grin.
Rena gives potty training a try. Chelsea willingly sits on the potty.
Rena experiences a sharp pain in her back when she stands up after placing Chelsea on the potty. She wishes she had time for a massage.
Chelsea finishes on the potty and is very drowsy by the time Rena has her changed into her pajamas.
Chelsea reaches for her mother one last time…
…before sleep takes over.
She falls back and sleeps the rest of the night away.
