It’s not long before Lexus’ pregnancy becomes obvious.
Her protruding belly makes it hard for her to sleep; she wakes up rubbing it lovingly.
It’s the middle of the night, but Lexus has the impulse to clean the house. She wants everything to be perfect for the baby’s arrival.
Dirt and grime are like her enemy and the toilet brush is her sword as she slices her way to a clean victory.
The next morning, Terrance follows her lead by giving the kitchen a thorough cleaning.
Terrance then gathers up all of the dirty laundry and takes it to the laundry room.
Lexus continues her cleaning crusade in the bedroom.
Finally she cleans her body with a soak in the bathtub.
Terrance has prepared pancakes for breakfast, but Lexus’ taste buds call for leftover waffles instead.
Terrance takes the trash to the curb and decides to visit the bookstore for new recipes.
Lexus joins Terrance during his short walk to the bookstore. Lexus is close to being sick as they walk through an alley and she smells the overfilled trash bins that they pass on the way.
The extra weight that Lexus is carrying is too much for her. She takes a seat on the bench deciding that she has no interest in entering the bookstore.
Terrance exits the bookstore with three new recipes, a baby development book for Lexus and a dart board for himself. “Come quickly! She’s kicking,” Lexus calls to him when he leaves the bookstore. He places his hand on Lexus’ belly surprised to feel the slightest movement.
“Oh my goodness! Is that our baby?” Terrance asks shocked to feel life moving inside of Lexus.
“Yes,” Lexus answers.
Terrance and Lexus stand amazed at the thought of becoming parents.
At home, Lexus begins reading her new baby book.
While Terrance heads up to the attic to enjoy his new dart board.
While he tosses dart after dart, Terrance decides that he wants to begin remodeling the house before the baby arrives. He knows this would make Lexus very happy.
Lexus finishes her baby book and starts a load of laundry.
While Terrance throws one last dart before calling up a local interior designer to begin home renovations.
