A short drive later, Terrance and Lexus approach the hospital.
Terrance takes frequent trips outside for fresh air as Lexus experiences wave after wave of intense contractions. He enters the hospital one last time…
…before his new son is born.
Lexus crosses the threshold for the first time as a new mother.
Terrance follows close behind.
Lexus enters the room designated for the baby and inhales in shock.
While she was at the hospital, in labor, the painters finished the paint job for the baby’s new room.
“Wow, I love it!” Lexus says out loud.
Terrance watches as Lexus place their son in his crib.
His love for Lexus has increased ten fold since watching her bring his first child into the world.
He walks over and Lexus pulls him close. “I love you so much,” she says before he has a chance to say it first.
“I love you too! More than ever,” Terrance responds.
Together they stare down at their beautiful son, Ethan Bull, who alertly takes in his new surroundings.
“We’d better get some sleep,” Lexus warns remembering what it was like when she shared a room with her baby brother Taye when he was an infant.
“Okay,” Terrance agrees also remembering what it was like with his brother and sister.
In all of her joy and happiness, Lexus still has one nagging thought that pulls at her nerves and causes her to worry. Can she balance life as a wife and mother and still realize her dream of becoming a doctor?
